Prior to joining MTC in November 2022 Bernd Hofmann had over 25 years of marketing experience in roles within the fast-moving consumer goods, medical devices, and diagnostic industry, culminating in the position of Vice President of global Marketing for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Microbiology division.
After completing his degree in Marketing and Business Management at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, Germany, he joined Bayer’s graduate Marketing trainee scheme.
Bernd subsequently worked in local, regional, and global marketing roles with increasing scope and responsibility for KAO Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, Carl Zeiss Meditec being based in Germany, the UK, USA, Canada, and Southeast Asia.
He has significant experience with major development programmes and global product launches in business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets, as well as in all aspects of the marketing mix, P&L responsibility, and strategic development.
