The IMechE warmly invite you to the upcoming Simulation and Modelling conference.

To support all engineering industries, the Simulation and Modelling 2022 conference will once more provide a forum to discuss the latest developments being made with Digital Twins and virtual engineering. Explore the advances being made with integration, optimisation and validation, from design stage right through to manufacturing.

The MTC’s Andy Stafford, Technical Specialist in Business & Factory Optimisation, will be contributing to the conference with his presentation “Is the Digital Twin a Buzzword?”, covering the options available and an assessment of how they can be adopted.

Key highlights this year include:

  • Digital Tribo-Twins of Mechanical Systems - BP Castrol
  • The class of 2022 – bouncing cars and what it means in terms of digital twins and the validation of engineering simulation - Abercus
  • Developing Operational Digital Twins - The Centre for Virtual Engineering, Loughborough University
  • Democratising Simulation using Cloud CFD Platforms and Workflow Automation - Total Sim
  • Optimising high-performance electric cars with CFD simulations - Williams Advanced Engineering
  • Digital twin to simulate cooperative, communicating and autonomous vehicles - Coventry University

Plus input from: The Turing Institute, Connected Places Catapult, Dassault Systemes and more.
