Together we impact society… the RIGHT way.
We focus on doing five key things to fulfil this purpose:
Ultimately, this will lead us to building communities (between our people, industry and our stakeholders) to challenge wicked problems. To find out more about how are purpose translates to what we do click here.
Our colleagues all share three things: our passion to transform industry, our values and our ethical principles. We welcome those who will share these with us. Our values – we do things the RIGHT way…
Our ethical principles underpin everything we do…
To help colleagues manage personal responsibilities and interests, we offer a suite of flexi-working policies including flexi-hours, working remotely and career breaks.
In addition to eight public holidays, we provide 25 days paid holiday per annum if you work Monday to Friday. We offer the option to purchase, sell or carry forward up to five days of annual leave.
We offer a highly attractive pension, provided by Scottish Widows, whereby we will contribute twice your own (up to a maximum company contribution of 8% of your salary).
We offer an additional day’s holiday after four years continuous employment with us. Furthermore, we offer a further day’s holiday for each subsequent continuous year of service up to a maximum of 6 additional days.
We host an annual awards ceremony to recognise team and individual brilliance and innovation.
We offer a range of support and benefits to new parents or guardians alike, including enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity pay, alongside shared parental leave.
As part of our commitment to support continual development, we offer up to £350 a year for a professional subscription to a relevant institution.
Colleagues can hire a brand new bike and accessories through the Halfords Cycle2work scheme. Bikes and equipment worth up to £2,000 may be hired via this tax efficient scheme.
Discounts are available through a scheme called Lifeworks and also through O2. Special offers each month are publicised in a monthly bulletin. In the last year, MTC colleagues have saved £20,000 in total.
Colleagues from across the organisation meet socially, including within our affinity groups (Accessibility, Neurodiversity, LGBT+, Women at the MTC), the Tilly Shilling Initiative and in a range of sport and hobby clubs. If enough colleagues are interested, the MTC will financially support you in establishing new clubs!
