Metal Powder Bed Fusion

EOS M280
- 400W single laser
- Build volume: 250 x 250 x 325 mm (xyz)
- Equipped with Sigma Labs PrintRite3D in-process monitoring
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Access to full EOS material library, including (Alumnium, Steel, Nickel, Titanium alloys)

EOS M290
- 400W single laser
- Build volume: 250 x 250 x 325 mm (xyz)
- In-process montitoring capability exposure OT and MeltPool monitoring.
- Smart calibration and beam power monitoring available
- In-process inspection: Amiquam eddy current system
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Access to full EOS material library, including (Alumnium, Steel, Nickel, Titanium alloys)

AMCM M290-2 FLX
- 2 x nLIGHT AFX lasers. Beam shaping capabilities from 85 µm Gaussian to 210 µm. Both lasers are full field.
- Build volume: 250 x 250 x 325 mm (xyz)
- In-process monitoring capability exposure OT
- Atmosphere control at < 50 ppm.
- Preheating to 500°C
- Smart calibration and beam power monitoring available
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Copper, Inconel, Alumnium , Steels, and Refractories alloys. Material investigation avaliable on request

EOS M400-4
- 4 x 400W laser machine
- Build volume: 400 x 400 x 400 mm (xyz)
- Smart calibration and beam power monitoring available
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Access to full EOS material library. Primarily running Nickel & Titanium alloys
Polymer AM

CEAD Flexbot E25
- Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) polymer system using E25 pellet extrusion technology

- AI Build Software
- Granulator & Twin screw extruder system available to investigate material reuse
- Materials currently available at NCAM: High performance polymers including carbon filled ABS and PETG

Stratasys Fortus 450mc
- Fused deposition modelling

HP Jet Fusion 4200
- Polymer powder bed fusion (high speed sintering).

Stratasys Objet 1000 Plus
- Polymer material jetting
- Build volume: 1000 x 800 x 500 mm (xyz)
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Multi-material capabilities. Variety of polymer materials including material mixing capability and full colour

Ceramic AM

Lithoz Cerafab S65
- Lithography based ceramic manufacturing
- Build volume: 102 x 64 x 320 mm (xyz)
- Lateral resolution: 40 μm
- Slice thickness 10-100 μm
- Heated platform to 200°C
- Materials available: High performance ceramics and bio-resorbable materials, such as Zirconia, silica, Silicon nitride, alumina. Ability to test and trial novel ceramic materials.
Bind and Sinter

AIM3D ExAM 255
- Open-materials fused granular fabrication (FGF) AM system using injection moulding feedstock
- Build volume: 255 x 255 x 255 mm (xyz)
- Layer height: Depends on the desired printing time and component quality (75 – 250 µm)
- Heating of the heating plate: Up to 120 °C
- Materials currently available at NCAM: Stainless Steel 316L, Alumina (but many others available)

Digital Metal DMP2500
