Candidates Privacy Notice
In this candidate’s privacy notice, references to “MTC”, “we”, “us” or “our” are to The Manufacturing Technology Centre Limited and each of its subsidiaries, including MTC Operations Limited and MTC (Manufacturing Technology Centre) Training Limited (“MTC Training”).
The Manufacturing Technology Centre Limited is ultimately responsible for how we use and look after your personal data and is responsible for this website and this policy.
Our privacy policy provides an overview of how we manage and protect your data and what your rights are. The purpose of this candidate’s privacy notice is to provide specific information on what data we collect about you as a candidate, how we will use it, how long we retain it for and what legal basis we will rely on for using your data.
If you are a candidate applying for an MTC Training role involving contact with and access to children and young people, you will be subject to the “Safer Recruitment Process”. The Safer Recruitment Process is a set of practices and guidelines to ensure staff are suitable to work with children and young people. How we use your data
We will use your data as outlined in the table below. The following applies to all candidates, except where the table indicates that the data is used for the purpose of the Safer Recruitment Process, in which case data will only be used for those candidates undergoing the Safer Recruitment Process:

Sharing your data with third parties
We will share your data with third parties or ask you to share it with them directly. These third parties may include recruitment agents working for us and our suppliers of screening services.
Data retention
If your application is not successful, we will keep your data for 6 months after the role has been filled, in case either of us needs access to deal with any concerns or questions that arise. We may keep your data on file for a longer period, so that we can notify you of future opportunities you might be interested in, but we will seek your consent to do this. If you are successful in your application, we will retain your data in accordance with our Employees Privacy Notice, a copy of which is available on request from the hiring manager.

Your rights in relation to our use of your data are outlined in our privacy policy which also tells you what you can do if you are unhappy with how we have used your data.
