EOS’ new membership will also extend the MTC’s range of additive manufacturing (AM) options for Defence, Power & Energy customers with the addition of an EOS M 290, equipped with in-process monitoring capabilities EOSTATE Exposure OT and MeltPool monitoring.
This acquisition, along with equipment from EOS’ sister company, AMCM, will enable the research technology organisation to develop more advanced materials for use in additive manufacturing (AM) and expand the range of applications it can be applied to. In doing so, companies can adopt this technology to expedite their route to market amid evolving supply chain issues.
