CASiM2 offers manufacturing SMEs in the West Midlands the opportunity to test and trial new products and ideas using virtual simulation technology.

Innovation doesn’t have to be expensive, through CASiM2 you can access world-class facilities and expertise without a large capital investment giving your business an exciting opportunity to try out and explore the innovative technology in a cost-effective, reliable and safe environment.

CASiM2 is a collaborative project with 3 partners: University of Birmingham, the MTC and Rolls-Royce; it is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project is simple: to share knowledge and expertise in manufacturing simulation and modelling to support and benefit businesses in the West Midlands.

Am I eligible for support?

If you are an SME based in the West Midlands, that has up to 250 employees and less than 50 million turnover (Euros), then you are eligible for support.

The offer

We will provide a minimum of two days of funded support, specialist expertise and knowledge in the areas of modelling and simulation.

Our support is tailored to meet your company’s specific needs. Whether you want to improve the efficiency of your production line, carry out analysis of fixtures, gain independent knowledge of software or communicate designs using the virtual reality suite, we can provide advice and expertise to address your business challenges.

Our engineers will work with you to transfer the skills and technology required to support the solutions to improve efficiency in your business.
