Kumar joined the MTC in July 2022 with 19 years’ experience of working in global senior finance positions in the Food and Automotive manufacturing industries. Kumar looks after the Finance, Legal and Company Secretarial Functions for the Group.
Kumar started his career with Kerry Group plc in their graduate programme and has worked in Ireland, the UK, USA, and developing regions in EMEA. He then had a stint in the Automotive industry with Delphi plc, as Vice President Finance for the global aftermarkets business, before moving to become Vice President Finance for the European Division for IAC Group. Kumar then returned to the food industry as Divisional Finance Director for 2 Sisters Food Group.
Kumar has a Bachelor’s in Economics from Staffordshire University, a Master’s in Finance & Investment from the University of Nottingham as well as a Diploma in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, University of Oxford. He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CGMA).
